The Saturday Movement is a non-profit volunteer group comprising of volunteers who are proactively reaching out to vulnerable communities with an outpouring of unconditional love.

Inspired by the book “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom, The Saturday Movement is a volunteer group in Singapore comprising of volunteers who are proactively reaching out to befriend the elderly and needy families primarily in rental flats. The initiative currently supports about 380 households in the area. 30 in the sungei road green hub and also provides food daily for 250 kids at the Christian paisansart school in chiangrai.
Thus far, our mission has been to:
(A) Feed and befriend the elderly, primarily in rental flats for 10 years www.facebook.com/saturdaysatlengkokbahru
(B) Promote mental wellness for Sungei Road vendors by providing food and avenues of income to sustain their livelihoods for 3 years www.facebook.com/sungeiroadgreenhub
(C) Support the vulnerable children at The Christian Paisansart School in Chiangrai, Thailand for 3 years.
(D) Set up a community kitchen at 57 Lengkok Bahru that employs residents who have lost their jobs and mentor incubator projects for those entering the F&B industry. www.facebook.com/s17communitykitchen
